USB port works as a PC COM port by FTDI FT232R converter chip in both of USB type A ends. The signals is UART TTL.
It can be easily configured in OTPROM memory to support OTPROM one-time programmable configuration information.
The bi-directional USB RS232 crossover data transfer cable is plug and play, USB powered and no extra power required, USB 2.0 full speed compatible, supports data transfer up to 115.2Kbps baud rate at RS232 levels.
